Work Schedule

100% FTE, day shift. Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with rotating holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

About the role

You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable Start your career at UW Health. We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Assistant to:

• Monitor seizure patients in the EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) via remote video system.
• Recognize, classify and document interictal, ictal, and post-ictal activity.
• Place, remove, and maintain electrodes on both video EEC patients and continuous EEG ICU patients.
• Determine when to activate emergency measures to intervene in patient seizure activity and alert appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• No minimum education.
• Required Work Experience: 1 year experience or equivalent experience as a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred.
• Preferred Licenses & Certifications: CPR/BLS certification upon hire.
