About the role

As a NeuroCare Sales Specialist at Teva, you will be a strategic, influential sales partner responsible for maximizing sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. This role offers the opportunity to help launch a potential first-in-class treatment for Tourette Syndrome and introduce an innovative new mechanism of action addressing a significant unmet need for patients and caregivers. As a founding member of a newly established sales organization, you will shape market adoption, build trusted relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders, and help establish Teva’s presence in a new therapeutic market.

Leveraging a deep understanding of customers, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape, you will develop and execute comprehensive territory strategies while serving as a valued partner to cross-functional teams. The successful candidate balances individual achievement with organizational success, delivering exceptional results through strategic thinking, sound judgment, and high-impact execution.

Ideal candidates will be based in or near Covington, Florence, or Newport. Territory boundaries may be adjusted over time to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with regional team members, cross-functional partners, and external contacts (e.g., HCPs and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating awareness of their needs and responding with appropriate action.
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to appropriately promote products and provide product and patient education.
  • Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs, leveraging industry insights to drive product differentiation and achieve sales targets.
  • Regularly review, proactively seek out, and analyze all available sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
  • Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges while fostering collaboration with internal teams to drive cohesive and successful sales strategies.
  • Proactively work with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and insights, ensuring cohesive execution of sales strategies and achieving shared objectives.
  • Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan, defined as face-to-face interactions with healthcare providers focusing on top target customers.
  • Take calculated risks and apply a range of traditional and nontraditional problem-solving techniques to creatively improve performance in your geographical assignment and region.
  • Adhere to all Teva’s compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Achieve all sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete all administrative duties for your geographical assignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience managing complex healthcare accounts and engaging multiple stakeholders within Centers of Excellence, large academic medical centers, integrated health systems, and multidisciplinary specialty practices.
  • Preferred experience collaborating with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement partners, and access stakeholders to support patient initiation, adherence, and continuity of therapy.
  • Experience in neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or other complex disease states preferred.
  • New product launch experience preferred, particularly within specialty pharmaceutical or complex disease state markets.
  • Full-time documented business-to-business sales experience, with level of role commensurate to years of experience and performance criteria:
    • Senior Sales Specialist: Minimum 1 year of experience.
    • Executive Sales Specialist: Minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Must successfully pass background, motor, and drug screening.

Skills

  • Proven record of accomplishments in meeting established sales objectives.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with HCPs in both face-to-face and virtual environments and be proficient with technology.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred.
  • Broad therapeutic area experience, particularly in the relevant therapeutic area, preferred.

Pay

The annual starting salary for this position is between $88,000 – $160,000. Factors affecting starting salary include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position also qualifies for participation in the company's sales incentive plan, rewarding employees based on achievement of defined sales targets.

Schedule

  • Regular travel, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel.
