The Neuro Med Surg Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical teams to assess, monitor, and address patient needs. The role emphasizes advocacy, compassionate care, and adherence to nursing standards to ensure positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, administer medications, monitor responses, and document care thoroughly.
• Respond to patient requests proactively and resolve needs efficiently.
• Educate patients and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatments and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Active RN license in relevant state(s) or compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
