Neuro Step Down (RN) (Part Time) (Days or Nights)

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a neuro unit, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, participates in quality and regulatory activities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans.

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
• Promote a healing environment through education and safety initiatives.
• Document and communicate care plans proactively across care settings.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred.
