Neuro Step Down RN (Full Time/Part Time) (Days/Nights)

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promotes patient‑ and family‑centered care, educating on illness management, post‑treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, coordinating effectively with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Works in a safety‑sensitive role, requiring alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Nursing diploma or associate’s degree; active RN license; no prior experience required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient‑education skills.
