Neuro Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse - Nights

About the role

Provide direct patient care on a 21-bed Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit specializing in stroke, brain injury, seizures, and post-neurosurgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Promote patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, medication administration, and post-discharge needs.
• Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while documenting individualized care plans aligned with standards.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Requirements

• Active RN license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; less than two years preferred.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety focus.
