Provides direct patient care in a diverse neuro-medicine and epilepsy monitoring unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medications, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, alongside ongoing professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Contributes to a safe work environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses: Valid RN license.
• Experience: Entry-level or up to 2 years preferred; supervisory experience not required.
• Certifications: NIHSS exam certification eligible.
