Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - Nights

About the role

We are seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialized Neuro ICU setting, focusing on complex neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and spinal cord injuries.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Promote patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document personalized care plans with clear goals, communicating effectively across care teams.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Nursing diploma or associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in ICU is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safety awareness.

Schedule

Flexible 12-hour shifts, including nights or days, with weekend rotations.
