HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self-motivated Junior ServiceNow Developer to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and modules under the guidance of senior developers and administrators.
- Assist in implementing ServiceNow platform enhancements, workflows, forms, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
- Develop and maintain basic scripting solutions using JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic ServiceNow incidents, defects, and configuration issues.
- Support ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog Management.
- Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of ServiceNow enhancements and updates.
- Participate in platform upgrades, patching activities, and post-deployment support.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, process workflows, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and support solution delivery.
- Assist in configuring forms, fields, notifications, workflows, and integrations.
- Perform data imports, updates, and basic reporting activities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Support system monitoring and ensure platform stability and performance.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and organizational standards.
- Participate in training, mentoring, and continuous learning programs to enhance ServiceNow knowledge and technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in software development, IT support, application administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web-based application concepts.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
- Basic understanding of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Service Catalog Management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality solutions.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification or actively pursuing certification.
- Internship or academic project experience involving ServiceNow development or administration.
- Familiarity with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal concepts.
- Exposure to REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
- Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of CMDB, Asset Management, or IT Operations Management concepts.
- Experience with source control tools and software development lifecycle practices.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and enterprise application platforms.
Pay
Pay Range Minimum: $46,000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $50,000 per year
