About the role

This position is internally classified as Technical Sales Support and will be based in the New England office, covering Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Preference is given to candidates located around Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit Wavetronix core values: People First, Growth Mindset, Innovation Driven
  • Master installation and configuration of Wavetronix core products
  • Demonstrate and troubleshoot Wavetronix products
  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Provide technical training (up to 10 people)
  • Have clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work flexible shifts and adapt workflow to changing project schedules
  • Provide service and customer support both in the field and over the phone
  • Help manage all on-site installation/configuration of products
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Document processes and produce timely and detailed trip reports
  • Cooperate with the team and share information across the organization
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
  • Keep track of current projects and support cases in CRM
  • Able to give technical presentations
  • Review plans and design Wavetronix products into projects
  • Conduct technical site surveys
  • Be excited about personal development and eager to engage in development training
  • Travel as required within and between territories

Requirements

  • 3+ years of networking field work or technical sales
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to execute presentations to large groups
  • Ability to travel 50% or more in month within the region (company vehicle provided)

Qualifications

  • Technical degree (EE, EET) or certifications in ITS/traffic industry preferred

Predicted range for this role: ~65-90K a year based on previous experience, transferable skills, years of service, base pay median based off location. This is a non-commissions based role.
