Networking Administrator
About the role
Maintains smooth operation of a variety of networks. Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.

- Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
- Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
- Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.
Requirements
- An Active Secret Security Clearance and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a production environment.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and 3 or more years of relevant experience.
- Ability to independently research solutions to problems and propose viable solutions.
- Ability to work with multiple teams to accomplish complex tasks.
- Comfortable working with multiple vendors in a heterogeneous environment.
- Familiarity with at least one virtualization platform.
- Good understanding of Cisco technologies.
- Experience with LAN switching technologies such as VLANS, spanning tree, and ether-channel.
- Capable of configuring network routing protocols such as Static OSPF & BGP.
- Comfortable with Firewall routing, policy, and inspection.
- Familiarity with configuring and managing NAT devices.
- Experience with IP-Sec VPNs and GRE.
Preferred
- Experience with various WAN technologies such as MPLS and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with networking requirements for high performance storage systems.
- Familiarity with multicast technologies and anycast routing.
- Experience with high speed Ethernet technologies (25GB, 40GB, & 100GB physical implementation).
- Experience in base networking architecture support.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma.

Benefits
Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921
