Network Technician

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing basic router and switch configurations
• Unpacking and packing equipment
• Aiding with shipping
• Maintaining racks and cabinets
• Conducting inventory of network assets and test equipment
• Ensuring network functionality and integration
• Assisting in the setup and maintenance of lab environments for network testing and integration
• Troubleshooting and resolving network equipment issues in a timely manner
• Adhering to all safety and security guidelines while handling network equipment
• Collaborating with network engineers and program managers to meet project goals and deadlines
• Maintaining a lab environment in a safe and organized manner
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to update system data

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• 3+ years of related experience
• Rout and switch configuration experience
• Experience maintaining and organizing network racks
