Network Systems Admin (AL)

Location: Fort Novosel, AL (onsite) – 6-month contract with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities

• Daily administration of a network/server environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain system software.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and deploy solutions.
• Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and installation of new applications and equipment.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery, security, and back-up and restore plans.
• May assist with evaluating new technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in networking/network management or equivalent field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• One of the following IAT Level II certifications:
  • CCNA-Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • GSEC
  • Security+ CE
  • CND
  • SSCP
• One of the following Cisco certifications or equivalent:
  • 350-801 CLCOR, Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Core
  • 300-815 CLACCM, Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Call Control & Mobility Implementation

Pay

$40/hr – $43/hr (approximately $90,000 annual salary conversion).
