Remote role with preference for candidates based in Boulder, Colorado. Position is expected to last 12 months or longer, with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and manage network performance to maintain quality of service
- Network routing and switching
- Network troubleshooting, engineering, and infrastructure management
- Load balancing and virtual private network (VPN) administration
- Firewall management and TCP/IP network security
- Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN) administration
- Implementation and management of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
- Content filtering and proxy server management
- Network troubleshooting using Internet Protocol Security (IPsec)
- Cloud management and network monitoring
- Access management and project management
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Network Systems Administrator
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
