Network System Administrator

Support a company focused on providing secure and reliable IT infrastructure services for mission-critical government operations. This position is on-site at Fort Rucker, AL.

About the role

Join a team supporting critical defense missions where reliable network performance and security are essential to success. The Network System Administrator will maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise network and server environments while ensuring infrastructure availability and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise network and server environments on a daily basis.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain system software, applications, and infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement effective solutions to maintain operational availability.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, hardware installations, and application deployments.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, restore, and security plans to ensure infrastructure resilience.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in network administration, network management, systems administration, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting enterprise network and server infrastructure in secure operational environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required, including Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, GSEC, GICSP, CND, or SSCP.

Pay

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.
