Network System Administrator

About the role

Support classified networks and Special Access Programs (SAPs) in a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, audit, and troubleshoot secure MS Windows networks, servers, firewalls, and network access.
• Manage internet protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL.
• Provide technical guidance to local customers.
• Perform system maintenance, hardware upgrades, system configuration, and data backups.

Requirements

• Meet DoD certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA) within six months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of related experience, including four years in SCI or SAP environments.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and SAP access.
• Willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server.
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies.
• Knowledge of security standards and cross-domain solutions.

Working Conditions

• Travel may be required.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in secure office settings.
