Responsibilities
- Perform technical planning and systems engineering activities
- Support system integration, verification, and validation efforts
- Manage, monitor, and optimize network traffic visibility for NDR platforms across enterprise environments
- Support network architecture reviews, packet analysis, and traffic flow troubleshooting to improve threat detection capabilities
- Collaborate with network engineering teams on switch, router, firewall, and IDS/IPS integrations supporting NDR operations
- Analyze network telemetry, packet captures (PCAPs), NetFlow, and other network data sources to identify security threats and performance issues
- Conduct cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses
- Analyze systems across all lifecycle phases, including:
- Concept development
- Design and fabrication
- Testing and installation
- Operations and maintenance
- System disposal and transition
- Translate customer and product requirements into total system solutions
- Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and program leadership
- Support troubleshooting, operational analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure technical solutions align with mission and program objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or a related technical discipline: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Related scientific or technical field
- Candidates must possess one or more of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNA Security, CISSP (or Associate of CISSP), CND, CSSLP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
- 5+ Years of hands-on experience with systems engineering lifecycle
- 3+ years of experience with Network Detection & Response (NDR) tools
- Active Secret clearance (or higher) is required
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a High-Risk Public Trust (HRPT) clearance.

- Knowledge of systems lifecycle management
