Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, monitor, and support network infrastructure for reliability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with senior engineers, security teams, vendors, and stakeholders on network operations and projects
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network hardware and software (LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, cloud)
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; resolve incidents and service disruptions
• Support network security measures, perform root cause analysis, and escalate complex issues
• Manage work orders and ensure SLA adherence in incident management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or administration
• Experience with Fortinet, Meraki, Cisco, or similar enterprise networking technologies
• Support experience with Azure and AWS cloud networking environments
• Advanced TCP/IP knowledge including routing, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and network sniffing
• Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and analytical skills
