Network Operations Engineer

What's the Job?

Manage and troubleshoot network devices using protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and OSPF to ensure optimal network performance.

Perform network traffic discovery by analyzing packet captures and driving issues to resolution.

Analyze and troubleshoot L3 private IP MPLS carrier networks, including BGP peering and private WAN topology.

Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, to maintain network stability 24/7.

Utilize various networking tools like Splunk, HPNA, Netdisco, Pulse, and others to analyze logs, traffic, and troubleshoot network issues effectively.

What's Needed?

• Experience with network protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and OSPF.
• Knowledge of SNMP monitoring tools and network topologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues in data centers, including replacing faulty ports, cables, or modules.
• Strong understanding of network security and device configuration.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with vendors and technical teams.
