About the Role
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced in Network Operations or IT Technical Support
- Desire to join the Gateway Technical Operations (GTO) team as a Network Control Specialist I
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to the team that monitors and tests Gateway network elements
- Assist with remote maintenance and execute checklists
- Support troubleshooting of customer trouble tickets
- Respond to alerts and coordinate fault resolution
- Perform equipment installation and maintenance
- Escalate non-standard events to senior personnel
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study (Telecommunications preferred), or equivalent relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of network operations
- Basic knowledge of Linux command line skills
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to think outside the box and adapt to a dynamic environment
- A motivation to achieve outcomes and results
- The ability to handle multiple tasks at once and complete them on time
- An eagerness to develop professionally and share knowledge
Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:
- Previous experience working in a NOC environment
- Technical industry certifications (Network+, Linux)
Note: This is an onsite role with a four 10-hour shift overnight schedule. This position directly performs under, supports, or is exposed to a U.S. government contract. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, able to work in a 24x7x365 environment, and lift up to 25 lbs. Qualifications
Base Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000 USD
Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors and this range represents an estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Base salary is only one part of our compensation package for this role. You may also be eligible for company stock and annual bonus.
