Network Monitoring Engineer

Job Summary

Maximus is seeking a Network Monitoring Engineer to support a federal client's mission-critical systems in defense of our Homeland. The role involves configuring and maintaining network devices, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Seven (7)+ years of experience in a Network Monitoring role or in a related field
• Active Secret clearance
• Four (4) or more years of experience with:

• Avaya PoE Switches
• F5 LTM and GTM load balancers
• KEMP load balancers
• Juniper SRX firewall

• SYS-1027R-WRF4+
• SafeNet 7000
• Avaya Media Gateway G450

Qualifications

• Manage, monitor, maintain, and secure networks and tenant network segments that integrate the transport of networks and data
• Maintain documentation related to network configurations, diagrams, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Conduct network capacity planning and bandwidth management to accommodate future growth and changing business needs
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate network infrastructure with cloud services, storage systems, and other IT components

Benefits

Annual salary range: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00.
