About the Role
GovCIO is seeking a Network Engineering Team Lead with an active Secret clearance to provide technical leadership to a senior-level Network Engineering team responsible for enterprise-class network infrastructure spanning hundreds of locations. This position is located in Arlington, VA and offers a hybrid onsite/remote work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day maintenance activities, new and existing projects, and team process maturation.
- Mentor team members and collaborate with other teams, including vendors, to manage customer expectations.
- Provide classified and unclassified Tier 3 subject-matter expert (SME) leadership for the design, implementation, and deployment of network technologies across the DEA Enterprise environment, which includes hundreds of locations worldwide.
- Deliver engineering and operational support for cloud providers (AWS and Azure), on-premise datacenters, campus networks, Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networks (DMVPN), Layer 2/3, wireless networks, and network applications installed on client workstations.
- Optimize LAN and WAN environments, datacenter load balancing, and network access security, including 802.1x and Cisco ISE.
- Provide SME-level support for Cisco ACI, Cisco NDO, Cisco APIC, Cisco UCS, virtualization (VMware), and UCS Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of network engineering experience (or commensurate experience).
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
Pay
USD $187,000.00 per year.
