Network Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

Athenix Solutions Group seeks Network Engineers to design, install, configure, and maintain complex data networks critical to national defense. Roles range from individual contributors to team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend technical networking solutions
• Configure web services; monitor status, and make updates as needed
• Design and build an information technology framework or environment
• Experience documenting Network topology and data flows
• Understand integrating and configuring physical network devices in complex environments (switches, routers, firewalls, etc)
• Configure DNS and perform routine maintenance and updates in complex network environments
• Design and integrate various functions of network and telecommunications equipment into functional systems
• Familiarity and experience with network security infrastructure and associated standards procedures and technologies

Requirements

• Active Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
• Education: Positions available regardless of experience level
• Entry Level: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and no or minimal experience (4 years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree)
• Basic Level: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and 4 years of relevant experience
• Mid Level: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and 8 years of relevant experience
• Senior Level: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, and 12 years of relevant experience
• Note: A Master’s degree in information technology or relevant field can be used to substitute for 4 years of experience

Qualifications

• Experience with network security infrastructure and associated standards procedures and technologies

$79,000 - $158,000 annually
