Overview
The Network Engineer administers, maintains, secures, and accredits the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB) network.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, testing, and analyzing all elements of the network facilities.
- Planning, installation, maintenance during or after work hours, troubleshooting, and network management.
Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience, or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience.
- Require anyone of the following IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.
- Experience requirements include 3 years of progressive experience in computer system/network engineering, including 2 years of specialized experience related to the tasks.
- Experience or knowledge with wireless network deployment, implementation, configuration, and management.
- Experience or knowledge of managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a network access control system.
- Secret Clearance
