Network Engineer, Senior Principal

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure voice, video, wireless, and data communication networks
• Lead development of high-level and low-level network designs (HLD/LLD)
• Deploy and integrate Cisco-based enterprise and data center solutions
• Configure and support advanced technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVN
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Translate complex technical requirements into actionable strategies and architectures
• Collaborate across multiple technical disciplines including security, cloud, and DevOps
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and perform root cause analysis
• Identify and implement performance, reliability, and security improvements
• Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, or similar tools

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (or equivalent experience)
• Experience: 10+ years of related experience
• Required Technical Skills: Routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), LAN/WAN architecture and deployment, network monitoring and performance tools (SolarWinds, NetFlow, Wireshark), firewalls, VPNs, QoS, load balancers, Cisco platforms (Catalyst, Nexus, NGFW, ACI, Meraki)
• Preferred Skills: SDN, Cisco Catalyst Center, ISE, Intersight, Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), Network automation (Python, REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform), Zero Trust principles and security best practices, Data center technologies (VXLAN, EVPN, ACI)
