Network Engineer Senior

Responsibilities

• Uses knowledge of network systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
• Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.
• Works on a team in an Agile environment, creating and executing Stories, Bugs, and Spikes to meet system patch and release timelines.
• Designs and implements on-prem and cloud platform solutions to support defensive cyber tool suites comprised of custom and commercial applications.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' related professional experience.
• Must have JNCDA, JNCDS-DC, JNCDS-SEC, CCNA, or equivalent.
• Desired Skills/experience: Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command, 1 or more cyber and cloud certifications and DoD 8140 Advanced level cyber qualification.

Education/Certification

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 18+ years' related professional experience; or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 10+ years' related professional experience.

Clearance

• Must possess a Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• SAR/SAP experience highly desirable.

Location/Travel Requirements

• Place of work is on Government site in Colorado Springs.
• You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.

Pay

• The pay range for this position in Colorado is $165,000/year to $185,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
