Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain network infrastructure.
• Support the network architecture running crucial analytic applications.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of various network appliances and infrastructure hardware for ensuring system availability and reliability.
• Maintain, support, and optimize all networked software associated operating systems.
• Analyze and implement DOS Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure the security of the network architecture.
• Participate in the upgrading of operating systems and design of network enhancements.
• Provide input on new or existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to network administration.
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams.

Requirements

Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Engineer Senior must have:

• A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Technical skills: Cisco, IPSec Tunnels, Network Engineering, Network Security.

Qualifications

Possess and maintain a Secret clearance. US citizenship required.
