Network Engineer Principal (Cloud Strategy & Migration)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Analyzing and recommending cloud infrastructure requirements.
• Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
• Analyzing network workload.
• Monitoring network capacity and performance.
• Diagnosing and resolving network problems.
• Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.
• Installing, testing, maintaining, upgrading network operating systems software.
• Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services.

Required Qualifications

• U.S Citizenship.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering Discipline.
• 8 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 4 of which must be in the DoW; or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoW.
• Minimum 3 yrs. experience developing, deploying or maintaining operational cloud (OCI, AWS and/or Azure) environments with an emphasis on federal or DoW systems (GovCloud, Cloud1).
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (or higher).
• Current Secret clearance—Required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud experience (OCI).
• Atlassian Tool suite.
• Agile Development methodologies.
• ServiceNow.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure- Highly desirable.
