Network Engineer I

About the role

Network Engineers work with customers on implementation and upgrades of their network infrastructure as well as respond to issues related to the customer network. They plan for and evaluate new and existing network systems and services between multiple platforms and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate new and existing network systems and services between multiple platforms and protocols.
• Respond to trouble tickets/tasks concerning network/voice issues.
• Maintain the security and proper access to customer data.
• Conduct project planning, vendor comparisons, and project management.
• Provide recommendations for future proofing customer infrastructures by providing data to customers, internal or external, with actionable data regarding specific customers’ infrastructure needs.
• Work on project implementations.

Requirements

• Demonstrates a proficient knowledge while learning a variety of technologies.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of successful, hands-on work experience in relevant fields.
• Accredited university, college or trade school education in relevant field or equivalent training in relevant technology.

Professional level position in described technology.
