Responsible for
- Protocol inter-networking and architecture of cloud computing platform
- Configure and troubleshoot network traffic engineering using BGP/OSPF
- Analyze networks and troubleshoot network bugs
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Upgrade software on routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Conceptualize large scalable network solutions
- Write applicable acceptance and design documentation
- Implement on a reduced time scale
Requirements
- One year of experience in IP networking fundamentals and the application of IP protocols
- Experience with protocols and technologies such as VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, VPNs, MPLS, DNS, and HTTP
- Experience with Python or PERL scripting
- Experience documenting and coordinating the deployment of manual and automated tests for complex systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- One year of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation
