Network Deploy Technician, Infra - GND
About the role
The Network Deploy Technician plays a crucial role in driving the stability and sustainability of AWS’s next-generation networks. This position involves scaling support of multiple data center locations, assisting in capacity management, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
- Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
- Specify Power and Cooling requirements and ensure Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
- Participate in the migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
- Travel within and outside of the regional work area as required
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
- 1+ years of computer networking experience
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma
Skills
Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR, and power meters.

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
