Network Controller

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to support the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This full‑time, on‑site position operates in a 24/7 environment and requires flexibility for rotating shifts based on mission priorities. The role is critical to supporting key DoD missions and their associated networks and requires an Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively investigate and resolve network monitoring alerts using available documentation and research.
• Diagnose circuit issues using router commands, loopback tests, error/alarm analysis, and other troubleshooting methods.
• Monitor network performance with specialized tools and escalate issues as needed.
• Create and maintain incident tickets using Remedy.
• Provide real‑time troubleshooting across a global network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Practical experience with LAN/WAN technologies including Ethernet, MPLS, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
• Active Secret Clearance with eligibility for upgrade to Top Secret.

Pay

Salary range: $55,000 – $65,500, based on experience.
