Network Configuration and Performance Analyst

Core Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analyzing enterprise networks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the Government, Project Lead, and other Network Analyst in support of monitoring and managing the customer networks.
• Maintain awareness of trends and best practices related to networks, technology and IT-related topics and provide recommendations to the Project Lead and Government on possible improvements or changes to customer systems and processes.
• Provide high-quality and professional customer service in all interactions.
• Use the Enterprise Network Monitoring Platform to analyze and provide data and documentation related to the network performance of any or all network components.

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite at the customer facility.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience with specialization in networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches and routers and analyzing complex networks.
• Working knowledge of web applications, web servers, application load balancers and storage systems.
• Moderate skill in scripting / coding (python, go, Perl, Bash, etc.) in order to support network automation tasks.

Preferred Additional Skills And Qualifications

• CCNA or higher certification.
• Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area.
• Knowledge and experience configuring and monitoring cryptographic devices.
• Experience in network engineering within the federal intelligence community.
• Ability to adhere to a disciplined troubleshooting methodology, and ensure task/mission completion, along with creating and maintaining necessary information.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail.
