PURPOSE
To improve student achievement through the design and implementation of a stable network infrastructure to include Installation, configuration and maintenance of the district's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Internet connectivity, and telecommunications.
Responsibilities
- Maintains the stability and security of the district's network infrastructure.
- Monitors the district's network to ensure consistent availability.
- Performs maintenance on servers, routers, switches, and telecom equipment as necessary.
- Collaborates with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in network administration or a related field.
- Experience with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
- Knowledge of network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Proficiency in network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of data center operations and server management.
- Experience with VoIP and unified communications systems.
- Understanding of network security best practices and compliance requirements.

Pay
$89,836 - $120,530 based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
8 hours per day, 260 days per year.
