Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with other team members and attend job meetings as required
• Travel to customer locations
• Trace cabling, data, fiber optic multi conductor twisted pair
• Install IT equipment, routers, switches, firewalls, surveillance cameras, access controls equipment and wireless bridges
• Installation and configuration of network equipment, including switches, routers, servers, and associated equipment for networking of POS systems
• Install, terminate, and program data cabling and associated hardware
• Test and troubleshoot installed cable
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
• Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications
• Constantly update job knowledge
