Network Automation Engineer
About the role
The opportunity is to join a team managing system infrastructure and applications. You'll work on automation solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure and application deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation solutions for system infrastructure and applications
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with development and operations teams for smooth deployment and management
- Support sustainment and development of critical naval platforms
- Continue to strengthen DevSecOps skills
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, JavaScript, Jinja2, or PowerShell
- 2+ years of experience with automation tools including Ansible
- Experience automating network appliances such as Cisco, PaloAlto, or BigIP
- Experience with CI/CD toolsets including GitLab or Jenkins
- Experience writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
- Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in on-premise and Cloud environments including AWS and Azure
- Secret clearance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Skills
- Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines
- Experience with JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Ability to analyze business requirements for automated process workflows

Schedule
Work primarily from a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with occasional in-person visits as needed.
