Network and Physician Liaison Sr.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
• Serve as the first line of contact between referring physicians and internal constituents (including affiliates) to increase referrals to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, build trust, and establish two-way communications.
• Coordinate and develop field training programs and materials for physician liaisons; coach WFUBMC staff as needed.
• Support institutional strategic and marketing plans by facilitating referrals to WFUBMC and affiliates.
• Provide market intelligence to appropriate Medical Center leadership.
• Promote educational programs to support regional physician, nursing, and allied health educational needs.
• Demonstrate responsibility for daily activities and personal development.

Requirements

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based with significant travel to cover assigned territory.
• Expected schedule: four travel days and one office day per week.
• Minimal, if any, overnight travel required.
