About the Role
Join GDIT as a Network Analyst SME and contribute to critical outcomes for complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. You will play a crucial role on the NIGHTRAVENTWO program, supporting network analysis for non-IP networks, telecommunications, network management systems, and protocols. Collaborate with signals analysts, protocol analysts, hardware developers, and intelligence analysts to drive innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support network analysis including non-IP networks, telecommunications, network management systems, and network management protocols.
- Collaborate with technical disciplines such as signals analysts, protocol analysts, hardware developers, and intelligence analysts.
- Drive innovation and efficiency in network operations.
- Utilize basic data processing skills (scripting in PERL, PYTHON, or equivalent).
- Use tools like Wireshark for protocol analysis.
- Diagnose network protocols using outputs from standard signals and protocol analysis tools.
- Research and apply telecommunications standards (ITU-T Recommendations and IETF RFCs).
- Operate collection front-end systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related experience.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, or equivalent).
- Experience researching and using telecommunications standards (ITU-T Recommendations and IETF RFCs).
- Ability to diagnose network protocols using tools like Wireshark.
- Active TS//SCI Full Scope Polygraph with DoW customer clearance.
- US citizenship required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $162,037 - $219,227, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
Schedule
- Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
- All work is completed onsite in a SCIF; no remote work available.
- Work location: USA MD Hanover (additional work locations may apply).
