About the role
This is an in-person role based in our Tulsa office. Remote work is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Designs, installs, configures, and maintains the organization's LAN, server, workstations, printers and other hardware.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, leadership and the ability to focus on results enabling businesses to operate more effectively.
- Provide assessments, written documentation and technical leadership using industry best practices in the industry, and perform related work as required.
- Configure and maintain the existing environment including physical and virtual servers, workstations, network, software, and other systems.
- Develop procedures and documentation.
- Provide training to staff and employees on systems support and operation.
- Ensure and validate compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Prepare and test new applications for deployment.
- Manage communications with third party vendors.
- Interface with end-users, management, and in-house team members.
- Track and install updates and new versions of software as needed.
- This position is located in Tulsa, OK and the successful candidate would be required to travel and be in this area.
- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience supporting several of these platforms: Windows Server technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Remote Desktop Services
- Microsoft 365 platform including Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Virtualization using VMware, Hyper-V, or other enterprise technologies
- Storage Area Networks
- Tier 1 server hardware including blade and standalone servers in a datacenter environment
- TCP/IP, IPSec VPN, MPLS, Firewall, air gap networks and other networking technologies
- Managing, monitoring, and alerting using industry standard technology
Professional Qualifications
- Good organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, while achieving deadlines and effectively communicating project status
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including strong technical communication skills to effectively interface with both Operations and Information Services Personnel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills including crisis management and resolution
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team-oriented work environment
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
Experience and Education
- At least 3 years in Server or Network Administration
- Experience in medium or large IT environments
- Experience in a regulated IT environment, meeting one or more compliance frameworks
- Vendor certification such as MCSE, CCNA, VCP or similar is beneficial
- Industry certification from organizations such as ICCP, ISACA, ITIL, ISC2 or similar is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
