Description Network, Server, Storage Virtualisation and Maintenance Install, configure and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls and Wi-Fi devices, and record configuration details for future operational reference.Build and support physical servers and related storage components, including SAN and storage tools, and maintain documentation that reflects deployed configurations.Configure, administer, review and optimize, Hypervisor environments and high-availability clusters to support system workloads, validating configuration readiness after changes.Coordinate infrastructure adjustments with application, network and database teams whenever infrastructure changes affect dependencies, capturing agreed implementation details.Support, Setup, and administration of operating systems e.g., Windows, Ubuntu, Suse, Redhat, Linux.Support and administration of cloud service, Private cloud, Azure, AWS.GCP, etc Container Platforms, Modern Infrastructure & DevOps-Oriented Support Support Kubernetes and container-based workloads by assisting with setup, configuration and environment preparation aligned with modern deployment approaches.Work with DevOps-aligned technical teams to contribute infrastructure components required for rollout and testing, including preparing evaluation environments.Participate in POCs and structured technical tests by helping set up, validate and document environment behaviour during evaluation cycles.Capture detailed configuration notes and test observations during infrastructure evaluations and collaborate with project and technical leads when refinements are identified. Monitoring Configuration, Operational Support & Collaboration with NOC Configure monitoring for servers, network devices and other infrastructure components and coordinate with the NOC to align alerting and reporting behaviours with operational practices.Work with application and database teams to reflect system behaviour in monitoring configurations and make adjustments when test cycles identify inaccuracies or missing data.Analyse monitoring observations with technical peers and provide follow‑up configuration updates to maintain relevance and accuracy in monitoring views.Provide guidance to first‑line teams on interpreting infrastructure alerts and reference escalation paths as part of daily operational support. Backup, Data Protection, Disaster Recovery (DR) & High Availability (HA) Support Execute backup tests and maintain records of data recoverability results for supported systems, sharing evidence with relevant teams when required.Support backup configurations and data protection routines by making required adjustments and documenting resulting changes.Participate in DR and failover exercises by preparing infrastructure views, capturing test observations and reporting behaviors of primary and secondary components.Contribute to HA-related setup by adjusting configuration parameters on servers, clusters or connected components in line with the designs reviewed with technical teams. Documentation, Handover, Communication & Knowledge Transfer Produce implementation documentation for infrastructure setups, including configuration details and operational considerations required for ongoing support.Prepare handover materials and walk technical or operational teams through the relevant artifacts so responsibilities can be adopted without ambiguity.Develop written communications that describe requirements, escalations or decisions and maintain a structured repository where documentation remains current and accessible.Train first‑line and peer teams on infrastructure processes and monitoring behaviours, providing ongoing guidance to help them understand configurations and support practices. Planning, Scheduling, Coordination & Change Execution Coordinate downtime windows and system change activities by engaging managers, branches and risk teams to communicate the scope and sequence of planned work.Plan and track infrastructure tasks alongside operational and project demands and adjust sequences in alignment with senior team leads.Organise cross‑team change steps, follow up on dependencies and confirm delivery of required actions as part of the infrastructure change lifecycle.Maintain meeting agendas, action logs and change calendars related to infrastructure initiatives and distribute updates to ensure alignment across teams. Cross‑Functional & Vendor Collaboration Engage with application, network and database teams to gather system requirements and translate these into infrastructure build steps and configuration updates.Work with project managers and senior team leads to ensure infrastructure tasks are sequenced correctly within broader solution rollouts.Liaise with vendors and external providers to obtain solution requirements, confirm integration considerations and reflect necessary details in infrastructure work.Participate in discussions with stakeholders where operational handovers or solution transitions occur and clarify infrastructure details that support the broader technology environment.
