Network Administrator

Summary Of Duties

• Aids in network performance by configuring and troubleshooting network issues.
• Maintains network-related hardware and equipment.
• Works in an on-call rotation to assist with customer needs.
• Operates and supports company internal data communications systems.
• Plans, designs, and implements local and wide-area network solutions.
• Solves network issues and coordinates with vendors for installations.
• Participates in project implementations and provides training.
• Writes proposals and conducts project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons.

Summary Of Minimum Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and three years of related experience.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of computer software and hardware and their network applications.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Demonstrated time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco networking and/or other IT certifications
