What You’ll Do
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users via phone, email, remote tools, and ticketing system.
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.).
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office desktop apps.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems, business applications, and antivirus tools.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security using industry best practices.
- Provide network troubleshooting, including connectivity, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating and coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Oversee system audits, documentation, and disaster recovery planning.
- Serve as a technical lead on network projects and mentor junior team members.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
- Travel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursement provided).
What You Bring to the Table
- 2 + years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure support.
- Proven expertise in switching, routing, and firewall management.
- Advanced knowledge of network security practices and access controls.
- Strong command of Microsoft environments, including Office 365 and Active Directory.
- Experience managing virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Azure).
- Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified preferred.
- Experience working in an MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment is a plus.
