Network Administrator

Position Summary/Responsibilities

BRBH is looking for a Network Administrator to lead the operation of the network. Our goal is to ensure our employees in multiple buildings can connect to agency resources. This is a hands-on technical position supporting 24/7 operations.

• Responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
• Oversees network systems, servers, endpoints, and applications across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Implements and supports identity and access management, application and data management, endpoint management, infrastructure management, and network services such as DNS and DHCP.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Preferred experience: Microsoft365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Entra), Single Sign on, MFA, backup management, certificates management, Meraki (security appliances, switches, access points), email protection (Barracuda), VOIP, security patching, security awareness, network monitoring, PowerShell, print management.
• Licenses/Certifications: Microsoft, security, and network certifications a plus.

Hiring Range

The anticipated base salary for this position is $52,175.96 to $65,219.95. Actual compensation offered within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities), geographic location, complexity of role, and other relevant business considerations. We kindly ask that candidates do not discuss compensation until after an offer of employment is extended.

Special Work Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally in one-on-one situations.
• Must also be able to communicate effectively in writing.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will often sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, crawl and climb.
• Reach above their head.
• Use of hands for placing and pulling objects.
• The employee frequently lifts up to 50 pounds, carries up to 25 pounds and pushes or pulls up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (installation of small components and small screws in computers, labels with small text, markings. computer installation).
• Ability to differentiate colors (network cable wires, electrical wires, warning lights on equipment).
• Specific hearing required by this job includes normal tones.
• Travel of up to 10% required. All travel is local.
