About the Role

A Network Administrator Engineer manages and maintains an organization's network infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure with focus on security, performance, and reliability
• Manage Palo Alto infrastructure including upgrades, patches, and configurations
• Convert layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID
• Create custom appIDs
• Leverage Python scripts to automate tasks (preferred)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing Palo Alto firewalls
• Knowledge of converting layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID
• Understanding of creating custom appIDs
• Experience managing Palo Alto infrastructure (upgrades, patches, configurations)
• Expertise in networking protocols and devices
• Proficiency in firewalls, routers, and VPNs
• Experience with network monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Checkpoint firewalls in an IaaS environment
• Experience deploying Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
• Ability to leverage Python scripts to automate tasks

Pay

$60.00/hour
