Network Admin (WV)

About the role

Support mission-critical Army network operations with 99.999% uptime requirements. Work within the Army Unified Network (One Army One Network). Manage and troubleshoot large-scale Cisco and Juniper network environments. Interface with Army Cyber Command, DISA, higher headquarters, and vendors. Handle enterprise network outages, routing optimization, IP management, performance tuning, and infrastructure recommendations. Must be comfortable communicating technical issues and solutions to both engineering teams and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required; Top Secret preferred
• U.S. Citizenship
• 8-10+ years of network administration experience preferred; strong candidates with 6+ years and advanced technical expertise will still be considered
• CCNA certification (minimum)
• Security+ certification
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco and Juniper networking
  • Enterprise routing and switching
  • Layer 3 troubleshooting
  • Network performance optimization
  • Mission-critical enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Experience supporting DoD or military network environments
• Strong background in enterprise outage response and infrastructure modernization

Pay

Contract-to-hire opportunity with a target conversion salary of $90K-$110K. Contract pay rate: $45-$52/hr. Contract duration: 6 months C2H.

Schedule

100% onsite in Clarksburg, WV. Standard business hours with requirement to participate in 24/7 on-call support for critical outages.
