NetDev Developer with Security Clearance
Job Summary
Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required. Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a NetDev Developer on our largest PRIME contract.
About the Role
Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base. Seeing your tools in real-time action brings immediate gratification.
Responsibilities
- Craft specialized tools for mission-critical operations
- Collaborate with analysts to identify and solve mission capability gaps
- Develop and modify software using C, C++, Python, and Assembly
- Support and maintain fielded software systems
- Reverse engineer Linux-based network devices
- Understand and utilize network protocols and traffic analysis tools
- Embed small engineering teams with analysts to rapidly address mission needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 12 years of experience in software development
- Familiarity with Unix-based systems
- Experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices
- Strong understanding of network protocols and traffic analysis tools
- Experience developing and modifying software using C, C++, Python, and Assembly
- Familiarity with Git and Subversion for version control
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
Qualifications
- Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree
Skills
- Reverse engineering Linux-based network devices
- Understanding of network protocols and traffic analysis tools
- Experience developing and modifying software using C, C++, Python, and Assembly
- Familiarity with Git and Subversion for version control
- Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
