Application Developer with Security Clearance

Job Summary

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required. Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for an Application Developer on our largest PRIME contract.

About the Role

Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base. Seeing your tools in real-time action brings immediate gratification.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and extend existing toolsets to meet evolving mission needs
• Derive, document, and analyze requirements
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements
• Produce end-to-end toolsets that operate within mission constraints
• Provide technical consulting across software products and technologies, advising customers on operational direction and best practices
• Participate in peer code reviews to improve code quality and reduce defects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 12 years of experience in software development (10 years with a Master's degree)
• Experience with reverse engineering methodologies and tools
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including analysts, operators, and external development partners, to deliver integrated solutions
• Experience developing and modifying software using C, C++, and Python
• Experience supporting and maintaining fielded software systems
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Subversion
• Experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo

Pay

Salary range: $160,000 - $240,000
