NETA II Field Service Technician

Overview

Shermco Industries is seeking a NETA II Field Service Technician to join their team in Denver.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily locally/regionally and be available for periodic overnight travel.
• Qualify for consideration by meeting the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
• NETA Certification (I, II, III or IV) or similar desired
• At least 2 or more years of relevant experience performing switchgear testing & troubleshooting
• Good PC skills including email, internet, data entry and Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerDB a plus
• Able to work safely and adhere to all electrical safety procedures
• OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training; training on each can be provided by Shermco

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Pass a fit for duty physical exam when required
• Pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests
• Acceptable pre-employment criminal background check
• Physically fit to crawl, climb, stand, walk and lift up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations
• Valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights
• Not currently or in the future require sponsorship to work in the U.S.
• Willing to travel; minimum 40%

Pay

USD $40.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
