We are a newly created Benefice of three rural parishes (Bradfield, Bucklebury, and Stanford Dingley) with a new Team Rector, seeking a Team Vicar to complete our team.

About the role

You will work alongside our Team Rector and the wider ministry team to serve our communities, fostering spiritual growth and pastoral care across the benefice.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship and preach in the parishes, sharing in the sacramental ministry.
• Provide pastoral care and support to congregations and the wider community.
• Collaborate with lay leaders, churchwardens, and the ministry team to develop mission and outreach initiatives.
• Engage with local schools, groups, and ecumenical partners to build relationships and serve the common good.
• Contribute to the strategic vision and day-to-day administration of the benefice.

Requirements

• Ordained in the Church of England with a current license or permission to officiate.
• Experience in rural or multi-parish ministry is desirable but not essential.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a heart for mission and evangelism.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to live within or near the benefice.

Schedule

This is a part-time role, equivalent to 0.4 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE).
