.Net Tech Lead with Azure - Only W2

Role: Tech Lead .NET & Azure Location: Beverly, MA (Onsite from Day 1) Job Type: W2 Contract Experience Level: Lead experience is a must Role Overview We are looking for a Tech Lead with strong .NET, Microsoft Azure, and event-driven microservices experience to lead the technical delivery of a life-sciences cold-chain IoT platform.The person will work onsite with the client s architect and technical team and act as the technical bridge to the distributed engineering team. Tech Stack Net, Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Dapper, Elasticsearch, Redis, Angular, Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, Terraform and Helm. Key Responsibilities Own the technical solution for the MVP and align it with the client architect. Lead technical discovery covering architecture, integrations, NFRs, ERP REST interfaces, and integration contracts. Design event-driven services, including message contracts, ordering, idempotency, replay, late/backfilled device data, and consistency. Drive multi-tenant data isolation, roles/permissions, audit trails, electronic signatures, and data-residency design. Guide the offshore development team through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering standards. Coordinate framework upgrades, environments, CI/CD changes, and releases. Work with QA on technical acceptance, NFRs, performance, and security. Represent the team in PI planning and technical decision forums. Champion AI-assisted engineering using Cursor. Required Skills 10+ years of software engineering experience with .NET web development. Previous Tech Lead or Solution Architect experience. Strong Azure cloud-native experience: AKS/Kubernetes, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Redis, Key Vault, API Management. Strong event-driven microservices design experience: asynchronous messaging, idempotency, ordering, eventual consistency, and failure recovery. Strong SQL Server and multi-tenant SaaS data modelling experience. Dapper or explicit SQL experience. Working knowledge of Angular / TypeScript. Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Terraform, and Helm. Security knowledge: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, and RBAC.
